Hey guys! Today I have a swatch and review of some of the best magnetic polishes on the market! I’ll be sharing 4 of the Masura magnetic polishes that were sent to me from Polish Molish, I chose some of the colors that have that gorgeous holographic micro flake running throughout but there are definitely more shades available! These are available at a few other indie stockest if you are interested. All my swatches today are topped with Liquid Macro by SuperChic Lacquer and the magnet I used is a neodymium one from amazon but Masura also offers a magnet specifically for their polishes.
First up is The Red Square Nebula, a deep burgundy maroon shade with a light touch of gold flakie, metallic shimmer, and scattered holographic glitter. This shade was beautifully opaque for me in 1 coat but I opted to go in for a 2nd to get a stronger cat eye magnetic effect.
Next up is Blue Stars , a deep stunning teal shade with metallic shimmer and scattered holographic micro flakes! This may have been the sheerest of the collection but it was still awesomely opaque in 1-2 coats! I did have some slight temporary skin staining with this polish but nothing a little acetone didn’t take care of you, you may want to use a stain blocking base coat here.
Next up is The Universe, a deep navy blue with metallic shimmer and scattered holographic glitter. This polish was easily opaque in 1 coat and the finish is just crazy gorgeous at any angle!
The last polish I have for today is Andromeda’s Nebula , a very true violet purple with metallic shimmer and scattered holographic micro flakies. When applying this polish I set my magnet pretty close to the bottle and I think it pulled the magnetic element towards the bottom. My first coat went on perfectly opaque but with a weak magnetic shift so I did a little shake shake on my bottle and went in for a second coat to get that cat eye effect.
Stamping gradient over black
Next I have a super quick nail art look! I used the Petla Golden Russian stamping plate and a gradient of all 4 Masura polishes over a base of Tux Polish’s Onyx. I topcoated with Liquid Macro and then went in the the magnet, I seriously could not be happier with these!
So that wraps up today’s swatch and review, be sure to head over to Polish Molish and check out all the fantastic indie polishes they have to offer
